LOGLINE
LIZA (36) loses her memory and finds herself in the comforting shelter of a warm mountain lodge, where a homely atmosphere of songs, hearty food, and laughter prevails. But every time she closes her eyes, an ever-growing, inescapable threat awaits her. Together with PETR (40), who volunteers marking mountain trails and is recovering from a mysterious accident, she embarks on a perilous struggle for survival.
The Cozy Lodge is a tense comedy-drama with science fiction elements, blending the mysteries of simulated reality, the romantic spirit of mountaineering, and the timeless conflict between escapism and self-realization. Set against the breathtaking, unspoiled landscape of the Slovenian Alps, the film explores the universal human impulse to escape the terrifying weight of reality.
